News today is that 11 potential free agents will be named by the Mitchell Investigation as past steroid users. One of which we already know is Jose Guillen.
The question I have is who is in control of these announcements? George Mitchell, head of the investigation, is also on the Red Sox Board of Directors. How can he be appointed to an objective position? It was released that Paul Byrd had purchased HGH in the middle of the Indians-Red Sox series. And as we know, the Indians did not win another game.
Who decides when the public knows what from here on in? And who will those announcements stand to benefit?
